Does the country of manufacture matter?

Lately I’ve been thinking about whether the country of manufacture really matters when it comes to supplements and similar products. A while back I ordered something just because it was cheaper, and only later realized it was produced in a place with very different quality standards. It didn’t cause any issues, but it made me wonder how much attention I should be paying to where something is made. When I look at sites that sell HGH and related products, I see brands from different countries, and the prices vary a lot. Do you guys actually check the manufacturing country, or is it more about reviews and lab testing? I’m trying to figure out what really makes a difference in the long run.
