Do beginners need a coach?
I’ve been going back and forth on this lately. I just started training seriously about three months ago. Before that, I was just doing random workouts from YouTube and copying what bigger guys in the gym were doing. Recently I started reading more about structured programs and even looked through some athlete profiles and competition prep content on Mister Olympia’s site. It made me realize how much planning actually goes into proper training. Now I’m wondering — as a beginner, do you really need a coach from day one, or can you build a decent base on your own first? I don’t want to waste time doing things wrong, but I also don’t want to overcomplicate it too early.
