Tips for a complete beginner

Hi,
I've just bought the professional subscription and I am a bit confused where I should start. There are some resources available for free, some of which I had checked out before and there are resources for users with professional subscription.

If I have the professional subscription should I even bother to touch free resources or the one from the professional subscription cover everything (including what's covered in the free resources)?

Should I basically go straight to the professional lessons and start doing it from 1.1 to 1.3, then next module?
