Why is a quick-drying towel important for one's journey?

Microfiber towels are perfect for travel and outdoor life! Why? Because they are lightweight, dry much faster than regular cotton towels, and are relatively inexpensive. Quick-drying towels are created for backpackers and other travelers.

In addition, a quick-drying towel is good because of;

• Many hostels require payment to rent a towel. Save the money and bring your own.
• A quick-drying towel can be used as a beach towel for fitness and as a seat pad on a trek.
• A microfiber towel can be used as a blanket if you do not have one with you on the trip.

The different types of material used in quick-drying towels

Quick-drying towels are available in materials ranging from Turkish cotton, linen, bamboo, and microfiber. Microfiber towels are the material that has the best properties for a travel towel. Microfiber is a synthetic material that basically brushes the water off your skin rather than absorbing the water in the material. This is why a microfiber towel feels different than classic cotton towels - although most towels made of microfiber are generally very soft.

In addition, microfiber is a very lightweight material, which is why these towels weigh surprisingly little.

What size towel to choose?

The most important thing to keep in mind when choosing the size of your microfiber towel is that the towel must be usable! Many backpackers choose just one for a small towel and forget that you do not bring a towel on the beach. So why do it on the journey? If you choose a towel that is too small, you will simply not get it used.

Therefore, we recommend that you choose a towel of 60 x 120 cm or larger. If you need to use the microfiber towel as your primary towel for the entire trip, we recommend that you choose a large size.
