Great attitude Stephanie, it takes a lot to be an artist and most of what it it takes is character skills - patience, persistence consistence, determination, boldness, audacity, self-belief ....so on. Yes we can tell alot from paint strokes, it is wonderful to be able to read through people's art.

When I contemplated meeting my husband for the first time, (as you would know if you read the section in my book, we had been in contact over the internet for months before we met and admired each others art for years before that and never wrote or spoke - just silent distant admiring fans) all i could think was that only a man with a gentle kind soul could paint little people holding flowers - Paintings tell many truths about us:) It truly is wonderful how we can work over the internet together.
