Hi Linda, you have done quite well with this little lamp. My main suggestion is that the large ellipse in the base of the lamp shade itself has a few flat areas. If you like, you could have another go at drawing the large ellipse and then re-submit this same image. Write version 2 on the image for me. The base of the lamp is quite good. You have drawn slightly different curves, this is okay for now, however if you choose to gain an accurate likeness, all you have to do is measure (in this case from the original drawing) all the way down the main section of the lamp base. measure each side of the centre vertical line. If you rule a whole heap of horizontal lines accross the main body of the lamp base (see my comments on your fellow student's works) rather than just the one you were asked to rule you will be able to draw the exact same shape that was drawn in your notes. Great effort here. I look forward to seeing a few changes to this one, if you feel motivated to so it will be well-worth your effort.
