Kium Lee "Adaptability is the most important thing when playing in the major leagues"

"Last game, nervous and excited since last night"

Kiwoom Heroes' Lee Jung-hoo, 25, has vowed to succeed in the Major League Baseball (MLB).

Lee shared his thoughts on playing his final home game of the season against the Samsung Lions at the Gocheok SkyDome on Tuesday.

Kiwoom head coach Hong Won-ki said he plans to use Lee as a pinch-hitter in the game. He also said he plans to play one inning of defense. Lee Jeong-hoo, who is recovering from ankle surgery, will play as a fan service. He will most likely not play in the away game.

Lee said, "I've been nervous and excited since last night. I think I'm more nervous than in my first game," he said, adding, "It's hard to say I'm 100%. It's about 70 to 80 percent. I don't have any problems running. I don't have any ankle pain. I plan to play well in the remaining games and proceed with my rehabilitation schedule."

"At the fan signing today, I told the fans that I will do my best until the end. Some fans said they would go to the U.S. to support me if I make it to the major leagues," he laughed.

He met Kim Ha-sung, a senior who is also playing in the major leagues.

Lee Jung-hoo said, "My brother Ha-sung is coming to Korea tomorrow, and we're going to meet and talk. I have questions, and he said he'll help me. I'm going to ask for advice."

Kim commented on Ha Sung's performance, "I knew he would do better this year because I saw how his brother prepared from the sidelines. I think it was a good performance, even though his pace was lower than in the beginning."

He also recalled something Kim Ha-seong had said in the past.

"I remembered something my brother once told me, 'I was afraid that Korean players might not make it to the major leagues in the future because of me. I vowed to do my best to give Korean players a good image."

Looking back on the season, Lee said, "It doesn't change anything. I'm thinking positively. My streak was broken due to injury, but I did my best. I think the team's performance was very disappointing."

He was coy about the details of his Major League contract and the club he wants to play for.

He said, "I don't care about the specific amount because it's up to my agent," and then added, "I don't know much about major league teams. It would be nice for Ha-sung to play for the same team as his brother, but his brother is eligible for free agency in a year."

He emphasized that the most important thing when entering the major leagues is adaptation.

"If you listen to the stories of seniors who made it to the major leagues, I think it's important to adapt. No matter how good you are in Korea, there is no guarantee that you will be good there. I will try to adapt to the league as quickly as possible. I think the first thing is to integrate well into the team. I'm also studying English in my spare time."

He also congratulated Kim Hye-sung (Kiwoom) and Ko Woo-seok (LG Twins) for their gold medal performances at the Asian Games.

"I was a little nervous watching the Asian Games final. I'm glad that Go Woo-seok was able to overcome the difficulties with the umpire's call." "I thought it was over when Kim Hye-sung caught the ball in the last at-bat. I was relieved to see Hye-sung make such a good defense." 카지노사이트
