The Construction of Bay Mills Resort & Casino Expansion

Bay Mills executives and business teams held a groundbreaking ceremony for the $85 million Bay Mills Resort & Casino expansion project.

"This marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Bay Mills Resort & Casino and the Bay Mills Indian community," said Richard LeBlanc, general manager. "We are excited to celebrate the hard work that culminated in this investment and look forward to growing our amenities for our great customers."

Casino expansion has been going on for years now because hotel occupancy rates have reached their limit. An additional square screen will provide new amenities and space for guests while creating new employment opportunities. The project plan adds 134 additional rooms with balconies, a deli, a spa with a massage therapy room, a swimming pool with splash pads, a hot tub, a nail salon, a fitness center, arcades, conference space and a shopping district. External plans include new fishing piers, gardens, gazebo and outdoor patios, as well as marina upgrades. Employees will also benefit from a refurbished lounge with additional amenities and space.
