'Trophy owners' KT-LG Korean Series tickets to go on sale today

LG to challenge for first title in 29 years in Game 7

Tickets for the 'final stage' Korean Series (KS) will go on sale on Saturday.

The Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) announced on May 5 that "ticket sales for the 2023 Shinhan Bank Shootout KBO KS between KT Wiz and LG Twins will begin on June 6 at 2 p.m.".

The best-of-seven series will begin with the first game at 6:30 p.m. on April 7.

KT won the fifth game of the playoffs (PO) against the NC Dinos 3-2 on the same day. They advanced to the KS with a 3-2 series victory.

KT, which won its first overall title in 2021, is knocking on the door of the podium once again after a two-year hiatus.

LG, which finished first in the regular season, docked in KS early and waited for its opponent. It will be the first time in 29 years since 1994 that the team has won an integrated title.

Tickets to KS can be purchased by searching for "Korean Series" in the search bar of Interpark, the exclusive seller of postseason tickets. A maximum of four tickets per person are available via Interpark online, ARS (1544-1555) and the Interpark ticketing app on smartphones.

All postseason tickets will be sold in advance, and in the event of any cancellations, on-site sales will be held at the stadiums starting two hours prior to game time. 19가이드03
