Pohang Steelers, a professional soccer team, announced on the 15th that it has signed a two-year contract with coach Tae-ha Park (55).
Coach Tae-ha Park, who was appointed as Pohang's 13th head coach, is a 'one-club man' who debuted in Pohang in 1991 and played only for Pohang until 2001.

During Coach Park's time as a player, Pohang won the K-League and the Korea Football Association (FA) Cup once each, and also reached the top of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League twice.
Coach Tae-ha Park, who started his coaching career at Pohang in 2005, helped Pohang win the K-League title as a coach in 2007, and served as the coach of the Korean national team from 2008 to 2011.
Afterwards, he served as the head coach of FC Seoul in 2012 and led the team to the K-League championship, and in 2015, he took charge of China's second division Yanbian and demonstrated leadership in helping the team advance to the first division.
Since 2020, he has served as the technical committee chairman of the Korea Professional Football League and has been researching the latest soccer tactical trends.
