Hi Nathalie, this is impressive work here. I have offered you some more suggestions for your interest but you have well and truly succeeded with this exercise for so early in the course. The adjustments we need to make for a portrait to take on a likeness are so extremely subtle. Instead of erasing a whole face part, all we do is simply make a line or curve thicker or just draw another line slightly below the previous one before we erase the section we don't need. This way we don't repeat the same error over and over. It is a matter of adjusting tiny weeny angles taht is all. It is really incredible actually; we are all different by these tiny little increments of measurements. thats why I think that we are all beautiful - just different. Portraiture gives us a deep appreciation of our own face and features, thats why self-portraiture is so valuable. We take a look at own face in ways we perhaps never had before. Its very exciting!

Now its time to move on to the next big challenge - charcoal! Have fun with that, charcoal is a gorgeous medium! Cheers!
