Holt Cup National Wheelchair Basketball Competition from 18th to 20th

The 29th Holt National Wheelchair Basketball Competition in Goyang Special Market Cup will be held at Holt Sports Complex for the Disabled from the 18th to the 20th.

Hosted annually by Holt Children's Welfare Association and Goyang City Sports Association for the Disabled (April 20), six teams in the first division of wheelchair basketball in Korea will compete for the championship.

The 29th edition of the competition will be sponsored by Hyundai Home Shopping, Goyang Special City, KB Kookmin Bank, Dong-A Otsuka, and Hyundai Industrial Information Institute. In particular, Hyundai Home Shopping has contributed to the development of sports for the disabled and the expansion of the base of wheelchair basketball events through sponsorship of the competition for 17 years since 2008.

"We are preparing for this event to focus on improving awareness of disabilities," said Kim Jae-hyun, director of the Holt Sports Center for the Disabled. "We look forward to seeing more public interest and positive response from basketball fans." Meanwhile, the final match of the championship will be broadcast live on SNT Sports channel.
