Las Vegas Fontainebleau Open Date Announced
The iconic Fontainebleau brand has arrived at the Las Vegas Strip as Fontainebleau Las Vegas, a luxury resort and casino revived by Fontainebleau Development, announces its global debut scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2023, while awaiting regulatory approval. Fontainebleau Development Chairman and CEO Jeffrey Sofer's long-standing implementation of his vision is in the final stages of construction and is taking reservations ahead of the grand opening.
"For nearly 70 years, the Fontainebleau brand has challenged boundaries and expectations," says Mr. Sopper. "With Fontainebleau Las Vegas, we transcended aspiration and set the stage for a new era of luxury hospitality, defined by innovation, sophistication, and abundance, with an inseparable link with our roots on Fontainebleau Miami Beach. This building represents a remarkable new chapter in our storied heritage, and will be a beacon for those looking to indulge in the unforgettable."
Seamlessly connecting the past, present, and future, the 67-story Fontainebleau Las Vegas is Nevada's highest-occupancy building and is the iconic brand's first westward expansion. Reflecting the grandeur of the resort's heritage, the 3,644 rooms and suites show an aura of timeless elegance while incorporating Las Vegas' unique luxurious splendor and unique amenities. Designed by Fontainebleau's in-house design team, the rooms and suites feature a blue and silver tonnage of color palettes and choral pink dash highlighted by mercury glass mirrors and brass details. Custom brass bow tie-shaped drawer pools show sophisticated attention to detail and Fontainebleau's history. All the luxurious accommodations offer stunning strip views with floor-to-ceiling windows.
Expecting to open in December, visitors can book their first stay at Fontainebleau Las Vegas through fontainebleaulasvegas.com . The website can also view inside the concept of 36 first-market restaurants worldwide, opening in December 2023 and 2024. The collection includes 10 of the top 100 profit-making restaurants in the U.S., as well as award-winning chefs and restaurants such as Chef Gabriela Cámara, Martha Ito and Kevin Kim, Alan Yau, Evan Funke, and David Grutman.
While planning the visit, guests will also get a quick glimpse of the 14,000-square-foot fitness center in Fontainebleau Las Vegas and the 55,000-square-foot Lapis Spa designed by Milan-based Lisoni & Partners. Arriving in Las Vegas from Fontainebleau Miami Beach, Lapis Spa will redefine wellbeing with an approach that emphasizes personalization and community. The spa offers a variety of wellness enhancements, including 44 therapy rooms, a purifying salt cave, a healing infrared sauna and a revitalizing event sauna, a rejuvenating lounge area, a men's and women's hydrotherapy lounge, a men's and women's common sense room with communal healing water, and 11 luxury suites that offer a dedicated spa experience.
"We are delighted to introduce the world-renowned amenities in Miami with Fontainebleau Las Vegas' new market offerings," says Sofer. "All of these concepts, infused with the dynamic spirit of the strip, allow us to create a destination that is the best of the world and promises a unique and unique experience for all our guests."
Additional resort amenities will include a 96,500-square-foot luxury boutique retail area located on the first two floors of the resort, a six-acre swimming pool area, 550,000 square feet of customized indoor conference space, 150,000 square feet of gaming space, and the upcoming LIV and LIV Beach experiences.
