World's Largest Slot Tournament in Hara's Atlantic City

Slot players across the country will descend on Atlantic City to win $1 million* and the slot champion title. The 10th annual Hare Millionaire Maker highlight event is expected to attract more than 240 of the best slot players in the country from 13 states.

Harrah's Entertainment, Inc., which operates 28 casinos nationwide, has been hosting Millionaire Maker qualifiers at its casinos since January, with more than 6,000 participants vying for the venue for the peak event. The slot tournament spans Harrah's, Rio, Harveys, and Showboat, the largest in the world and the only four nationally known casino brands in the gaming industry.

Harrah's invites 243 top qualifiers to Atlantic City, along with 243 top qualifiers, to award $1 million in prize money.

"We are proud to have been hosting the ultimate slot event for the casino industry for a decade now," said Ginni Shanks, senior vice president of acquisition and marketing at Hara. "Millionaire Maker always attracts the best slot players in the country, and we are excited to become our 10th champion next week in Atlantic City, a market we have invested heavily in for many years."

Millionaire Maker contestants compete in three rounds of slot action for 10 minutes and accumulate points as they progress. Each machine is set up to play consecutive games, so contestants can get the highest possible score. At the end of three rounds, the player with the highest score total becomes the champion and receives the grand prize of $1 million.
