CEO says more sports books offering horse racing
Woodbine Entertainment has incorporated Bet365's bet on horse racing with a private operator for the first time in time for the weekend's King's Plate. But now, Jim Lawson, CEO of the horse racing group, explained that the organization is considering launching a Paris Mutuel betting on more Ontario-regulated sportsbooks in time for the next Kentucky Derby.
Horse racing launches for third-party operators in Ontario have been going on for quite some time. First, Canada needed to legalize single event betting, which became a reality in August 2021. Woodbine, however, retained its exclusive right to horse racing betting. It took the group some time to negotiate terms with a private sports betting operator, but it's now complete.
In a recent interview, Mr Lawson shared that a non-profit horse racing operator is considering introducing a Paris-Mutuel bet on racing in a number of provincial licensed sports books by early 2024, but he also noted that the group is likely to be able to deliver products out of the province with other provincial lottery companies.
This means that iGaming platforms such as B.C. PlayNow can offer services similar to what they currently offer to ontarian bets. Partnerships with private operators are an example of the concept of other local regulators, demonstrating that Paris mutual betting through digital sports betting platforms can be performed legally and safely.
In addition, Lawson said the latest launch is bringing a whole new fan population to horse racing through operators and ultimately through all other upcoming betting apps as the team expands its Paris Mutual Footprint. He mentioned that many others are also eager to participate in horse racing content.
The CEO noted that horse racing accounts for 8% to 10% of sports betting brand sales. He finds horse racing attractive to the industry because it is "always on" because it runs almost always somewhere around the world. Also, the group's federal Pari-mutuel Waging License allows Canadian equestrian athletes to bet on races on all continents.
On Sunday, Woodbine Race Track hosted the prestigious King's Place, and the CEO said the event attracted tremendous attention. That's why horse racing operators want to install retail sports books on the track and capitalize on the appeal of their own bets. Finally, he said the company was shocked by this year's overwhelming demand for tickets. 안전한 카지노사이트
In early June 2023, Woodbine Entertainment introduced Swinger/Omniwager on the track, further improving its betting options. This is a major international bet that requires you to choose two of the top three in horse racing. Then, one of the contestants can choose first, second, third, and third place to win
