Do I need a prescription to purchase Australian Bush Flower Essences from a pharmacy?

I really want to try flower essences. A friend of mine sings their praises, saying they help her emotionally and even physically. But I'm not sure if they're actually medicine or something like vitamins? Do I need a prescription, or can I just pop into a pharmacy and buy them? Has anyone else bought them in Australia or ordered them online? Please share your experiences.
