I recently read the article about What are Tech Support Scams and Why are They so Popular These Days? And I want to share my impressions because the topic is truly important and relevant. This article helped me understand what tech support scams are—when scammers pose as specialists from reputable companies to convince you that something is wrong with your device and offer to "help" for money or access to your computer. I found the explanation of why such scams have become so widespread particularly valuable: with the advancement of technology and the increase in internet users, many are simply unsure how to distinguish real help from fake. Scammers prey on our anxiety and desire to quickly solve problems, use psychological tricks, create a sense of urgency, and even fake messages or phone numbers to appear like official services.
