Thanks Mike! I see what you mean about the blunt end. Indenting is scary for me because I am so heavy handed ( hence my using the grid method on transfer paper and then only ever so LIGHTLY transferring a few guidelines so that I can complete the rest of the drawing using the grid method ) I've learned that through some pretty painful experiences where the grooves never disapearred no matter how I tried to mask them ) So back to indenting. A scary tool for me. Do you use it the same way you stroke your pencil ( like an airplane taking off?) . That would eliminate blunt ends I imagine.
