EXERCISE 1
I tried to look at this without reading the labels. Apart from the eraser, which lacks any depth, I easily identified every one. They'e also remarkably symmetrical, where symmetry matters - well done with that.

As soon as you switch what you're looking at - from the line you're drawing to the white line or shape you're creating - your brain sends feedback about the white line and its width. The only white we have is the white of the paper, and the only way of drawing white is to work around it. I'm not including erasing because that leaves soft edges and rarely returns paper to its pristine white surface. So, being able to see the white you are leaving as a positive white line or mark is essential when you're drawing. And it looks as though you can do that with ease.
