If you were to draw the eye, I'm certain you would know exactly where you were and where each feature is positioned. Outside of the eye, I'm not quite so certain. You've spotted most of the more major lines running through the hair, but missed a few of the secondary but equally useful ones. Don't worry - you've done much better than most people do :o)

It depends on how deeply you look into a photo - and the deeper you look, the more information you collect that can be invaluable when you begin the drawing. For example, running half way between the eye and the bottom right corner is a line that cuts across the hair. It's an edge where two layers of hair overlap. Marking features such as that can greatly assist you when you draw that area - and you've noticed most of them.
